This policy explains how cancellation, withdrawal rights, and refunds work for the QR Hero service, provided by Etcetera Digital LLC, 30 N Gould St., Suite 2413, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. It forms part of the QR Hero Terms of Service.
The easiest way to avoid needing a refund is to test QR Hero first: free plan features and any trial included with your plan let you evaluate the Service before committing to a paid subscription.
You can cancel at any time from your account settings - no email or phone call required. When you cancel:
Downgrades to a cheaper plan take effect at the next renewal.
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually. Except as described in this policy or required by applicable law, fees are non-refundable and unused portions of a billing period are not refunded or credited when you cancel mid-period.
We will refund you in full where:
If something went wrong that isn’t covered above, contact support@qrhero.com - we would rather fix a legitimate problem than argue about it.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason.
When you subscribe, you ask us to start providing the Service immediately rather than waiting out the 14-day period. If you withdraw within 14 days of your first purchase, we will refund the amount you paid, less a proportionate amount for the period during which the Service was provided before you told us you were withdrawing, as permitted by Directive 2011/83/EU and the corresponding UK rules.
To withdraw, email hello@qrhero.com within the 14-day period with a clear statement that you withdraw from the contract (you may use the model withdrawal form prescribed by your local law, but it is not required). This withdrawal right applies to your first purchase of a subscription, not to renewals, which you can avoid by cancelling before the renewal date.
This section does not apply to business customers.
Prepaid credits in your QR Hero wallet fund overages and optional services. Credits do not expire while your account is active, but they are non-refundable except where required by law or where we close your account without cause, in which case we refund the unused balance.
Charges for usage already consumed (for example pay-per-use overages) are non-refundable.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days of approval. Where taxes were charged, refunds include the corresponding tax amount.
If you dispute a charge with your card issuer instead of contacting us first, we may suspend the account concerned while the dispute is investigated. Please give us the chance to resolve billing issues directly - it is faster for everyone.
