Packaging is too small, shelves go empty

Specs, reviews, and demos don't fit on a hang tag - and when the shelf is empty, the sale walks out the door with nothing to scan.

Scan to the full story - or the online order

Shelf codes open rich product pages synced from your feed. An empty shelf becomes an endless aisle: scan, order online, sale saved.

How retailers use QR Hero

Shelf-edge product info

Hang-tag codes open detailed specs, video demos, and reviews that never fit on physical packaging.

Endless aisle / out-of-stock recovery

A code on the empty shelf tag lets the shopper order online on the spot, recovering a sale that would otherwise be lost.

Receipt loyalty & warranty

A code on the printed receipt routes to loyalty enrollment or warranty registration - trackable per store.

After-hours window shopping

A QR in the shop window lets passersby browse and order after closing - the storefront sells while you sleep.

Where QR Hero fits - honestly

Product feeds sync from Shopify, CSV, and JSON/XML today. Deeper platform integrations (BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Amazon listings) with live inventory awareness are on the radar but not built yet.

Frequently asked questions

Where can product data come from?

A Shopify feed, a CSV upload, or any JSON/XML product feed. The product pages re-sync automatically, so shelf codes always show current items and prices.

Can I tie in-store scans back to my ad platforms?

Yes - codes carry UTM parameters and can fire Meta, TikTok, Google, LinkedIn, or Snapchat pixels on the way through, so in-store scans show up in your ad attribution.

Can one code send iPhone and Android shoppers to different stores?

Yes. Device-based routing sends iOS scanners to the App Store and Android to Google Play - or either to a web page - from the same printed code.

What happens to my printed tags during a sale or rebrand?

Nothing - that's the point. The code is dynamic, so you re-point it at the sale page for the weekend and back on Monday. The printed tag never changes.
